Scenic Gondola Rides

Take a scenic ride up to the top of Vail Mountain for lunch or other activities via the Eagle Bahn Gondola out of Lionshead or Gondola One in Vail Village. Let us transport you to a world of mountain peaks, wildflowers, Adventure Ridge family activities, outdoor barbecues, and more. The Rocky Mountains and our summer resort are waiting for you Group lift ticket rates are available and vary depending upon the size of the group.

Nature Hikes

Vail Mountain is a great place to enjoy a hike with trails beginning at the base areas and others starting from the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Mid Vail. Don’t forget to stop up top at Talon’s Deck at Eagle’s Nest or the Mid Vail BBQ for refreshments or lunch on the patio with amazing views of the 14,000 ft Mount of the Holy Cross and the Gore Range! Half day and full day public hikes are available by reservation and private hikes can be customized for your group. Trail maps are also available for self-guided hiking on Vail Mountain.

Mountain Biking

Vail is an amazing location for mountain biking. Miles of scenic trails are accessible on Vail via the Eagle Bahn and Gondola One – and the adventurous can always ride up the mountain. With plenty of trails for every type of bike rider, Vail Mountain offers up adventure, challenge, and enjoyment for families, first timers, experts, and everyone in between. Bike and helmet rentals are available at both areas.


Sculpted by the great Rocky Mountains, a number of championship golf courses are available during your stay, depending on where you are lodging. Guests at select properties are eligible to play the award winning Red Sky Golf Club, voted one of Golf Digest’s “Best 20 Golf Resorts”. Red Sky encompasses 700 acres of classic western landscape on two world-class courses designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman. Group tee times and tournaments are available.
